Who I am..
I firmly believe everyone has a story and in each chapter we meet others to help us learn and to grow. I love bringing energy into the room and smiles to faces. I started Strength Through Storms following a very stormy time in my life that was filled with grief and difficult change and through that grief and difficult change I learned some very valuable lessons…Strength is built in the stormy seasons of life and even though some change is difficult, it gives us opportunities to grow, to learn and to gather our village.
I graduated with my Bachelor of Social Work from Shippensburg University in 2012 and my Master of Social Work from Walden University in 2023 and obtained my License of Clinical Social Work (LCSW). I have worked with diverse populations including children, teens, families, mothers, and older adults. Today, my work focuses on teens and adults who have endured trauma or assisting in navigating life transitions. I am passionate about helping others see their true selves while assisting them in overcoming struggles. I am a dedicated learner to expanding my knowledge and skill set to help others.
When I’m not working, you can find me going on adventures with my bonus children and husband, playing with my amazing dogs or curled up with a good book. I am notorious for stopping and saying ‘Hello!’ to every dog I pass and pausing to smell any pretty flower.
Our Mission:
At Strength Through Storms, our mission is to provide compassionate, holistic, and honest mental health care that honors each person’s unique journey. We believe healing is not linear, and growth often begins in life’s most challenging moments. By meeting individuals exactly where they are-with authenticity, empathy, and without judgment-we create a space where change is not feared, but embraced. Through a whole-person approach that nurtures mind, body, and spirit, we empower our clients to build resilience, discover their inner strength, and move forward with clarity and purpose-even in the midst of the storm.

Walk and Talk
Need to stretch your legs and also talk with a trusted professional? Walk and Talk allows you to do both, get some movement and get some talking. This service is private pay only for Chambersburg and Shippensburg.

In Person Sessions
Telehealth is a great option to get the help you want and need in a way that fits your life. Telehealth is convenient as you can meet with a trusted clinician even if you’re hours away! As long as your are in a safe, private place, you can be in your comfortable spot for your sessions.
Per state regulations, you must be physically in the state of Pennsylvania and meet other certain criteria for your appointments.
I am actively working to find the right space for in person appointments…so hang tight!
